I used Slim4Life in the KC area and lost 70lbs…AND learned to eat new vegetables. Yes, it was pricey (there is the program itself, and also in order for the “guarantee” to stay in effect you have to use their supplements and vitamins as directed) All told I think in 6 months I paid them $2000. a lot, YES. BUT my grocery bill decreased significantly, my eating out bill almost disappeared, I sold a LOT of clothes at consignment stores… ;) And I dropped 16 sizes. I’ve kept it off for 2 yrs. I treated it like a medical expense. I followed their advice as if a Dr had given it to me (less likely to cheat then when I am only accountable to myself) and it worked. Could I have done it at home? probably. There was no “magic” involved…it was the food pyramid. But it worked for me.

I went to slim 4 life in aurora Colorado. It was expensive. However it was worth it I lost 112 pounds in less then a year. I followed the diet but I also exercised which was a wonderful addition to my diet and life style change. I then had a baby and gained 60 pounds but because I went thru the entire program I have been able to lose the weight again. I know right now especially with the economy the way it is and even when it’s good to pay a lump sum and then have to spend money to by expensive supplements and snacks plus food for yourself and or family can be tough but I sacrificed my way thru it and It was the best investment in myself and my family that I could have made. I am so much more fit and healther then I would have been at almost 270 pounds. I would encourage anyone to go to slim 4 life and you can go online and get the supplement protein snack bars etc at better prices still expensive but less. I would recommend becoming acclimated with the program first and to see what you get in your inital sign up before you go on line to keep replinishing your supply. i went to a slim4life center in aurora colorado and i was quoted a price of $765.00. they used to have it were you could pay monthly but people were getting the materials they needed to start with and then going online and finding the same materials for way cheaper. so people would end up cancelling before they paid the full amount of 765.00. which by the way is only for a year. they have you on a strict diet. they give you a list of foods you can eat and the portion sizes. if it is not on the list you can’t have it. i know some one who is on the diet and it works very well. the only thing is you pay that much money and you still have to buy their supplements. like the snack bars and oatmeal. they have a large veriaty of things to choose from but they are costly if you don’t go online to find the same products at a cheaper price. i hope this helps you out a little.
