Does Hydroxycut Hardcore Work Without Ephedra?

Since the ban of ephedra, companies have been scrambling to find an effective replacement. Hydroxycut Hardcore has failed to do so. While some users of Hydroxycut lose weight, it’s by no means innovative or a miracle.

Hydroxycut Hardcore Ingredients

The list of ingredients isn’t bad at all. Both green tea and caffeine stimulate thermogenesis. It gets the term hardcore, because it contains a whopping 300mg of caffeine. When you take into consideration other stimulants like Yohimbine HCL, it may be a little too much - even for the most intense bodybuilders. The other ingredients are helpful, but again, nothing special.

What About Hydroxycut Hardcore’s Studies?

Hydroxycut cites some pretty impressive studies. However, there is one caveat. Pay close attention to the words. After each amazing study, the company qualifies the statement with this “using the key compounds in Hydroxycut Hardcore.” “Key compounds” is the phrase that needs a closer look. Notice that the study wasn’t done on Hydroxycut Hardcore itself. The studies don’t even list quantity of ingredients or even the ingredients used. You see the problem?

Here is one example of how the studies are misleading. Cissus quadrangularis is found in the weight loss blend. In order to be effective, 500mg-1000mg needs to be taken. Notice that the fat loss blend is only 912 mg. The only number given to us is 300 mg of caffeine. We know that there is 300 or more mg of gree tea extract. If we assume that there are 400mg of Green Tea (the appropriate dosage) that leaves 212mg for Cissus quadrangularis, White willow extract and Aspidosperma quebracho-blanco extract. That’s not enough when 500mg-1000mg are needed.

Always read the fine print when clinical studies are mentioned- there is always a caveat.
