Cuur
Is Cuur really the “Swedish Secret”?
After a closer look at this product, we couldn’t find a secret at all. What we found it a supplement that contains 4 ingredients - only one of which they actually talk about: green tea.
Cuur Ingredients
- Green Tea is an decent, typical ingredient for a weight loss pills. It contains healthful antioxidants and may help you lose some weight, especially when it’s caffeinated.
- Coleus Forskohlii is a great ingredient. I don’t know why Cuur is so focused on green tea. Read our in-depth review of Coleus Forskohlii.
- Betula Alba (Birch leaves) may help with kidney stones. There is nothing published in regards to it effectiveness as a weight loss supplement.
- Yerba Mate contains caffeine and may help suppress the appetite. It is considered a below average ingredient by experts.
Cuur’s Ingredients are OK - So, What’s The Problem?
One of the problems is the fact that we do not know how much of each ingredients is in Cuur (with the exception of the EGCG of green tea ). They use what is called a proprietary blend. This, unfortunately, is an industry standard. It’s used to “protect” their formula. But there’s not much to protect. It’s 4 ordinary ingredients. My suspicion is that they skimp on the amount of Coleus Foskihlii (I have no evidence, just a thought). Essentially, Cuur is green tea.
Cuur’s Price
Cuur sells for a money back guarantee of $40. That is a lot of money to pay for Green Tea! Cuur is way overpriced when you can find pure green tea extracts for under $10! No wonder they can afford all of the fancy advertisements you see in magazines! It seems that more money is being thrown into advertising than into the actual product!
Cuur’s Not-So-Free Trial/Autoship Program
You may have come accross a seemingly amazing opportunity - a free trial. Please read the fine print people. It’s a lure to get your CC number. If you don’t call and cancel within a few days, you will be charged $40+ a month for a mediocre product. Once that $40 bottle of green tea arrives, you won’t be able to get a refund because you’re already Cuur club. Do yourself a favor and avoid ALL autoship programs. Most of the products are garbage and they are a pain in the neck to cancel (if you can cancel).
Cuur Pros
- Contains Coleus Forskohlii
Cuur Cons
- VERY expensive for green tea
- Suspicious proprietary blend
- Lack of positive reviews
- Annoying autoship program
Cuur Conclusion
Rather that waste your money on a glorified and extremely expensive Green Tea extract, we have recommended some other supplements that are just as powerful and give you more for your money. We have also searched stores, outlets, and the internet to find the very best prices for these products.
