AbGone

Does AbGone Get You Cut?
“Scientific clinical and case studies” have shown that Abgone can “enable you to lose substantial weight without changing your diet or physical activity and without going hungry.”  Well, that sounds like a miracle to me.  This is all according to the company, of course.  Though there is nothing on the face of this earth that could actually do that for you (other than maybe liposuction or gastric bypass) you should look a little closer to see what this product is all about.
AbGone Ingredients

  • Vitamin C (175 mg)
  • Zinc (7.5 mg)
  • Chromium (100 mcg)
  • Dandelion Root & Leaf powder (150 mg)
  • ABGONE Proprietary Blend (820 mg):
  • Phosphatidylserine
  • CLA (conjugated linoleic acid oil)
  • L-Leucine
  • L-Isoleucine
  • L-Valine

The key ingredients here, even in the proprietary blend, are all included in very low concentrations – too low to be effective.  How do I know that if the exact concentrations aren’t listed for each ingredient?  Simple – the effective doses of ingredients such as CLA, L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine for instance are all multiGRAM doses.  Here the entire proprietary blend is less than one gram.
Phosphatidylserine has some evidence to show it will lower cortisol levels, but at higher doses and is generally only effective for stress related to exercise, which is not usually a big problem for those who are overweight.  In general the ingredients here are good, but are included in doses which are way too low to be effective.
AbGone Pros

  • Inexpensive

AbGone Cons

  • Ingredient concentrations ineffective
  • No evidence on the actual product’s ability to help

AbGone Conclusion

Though you may be impressed by the low price and the good ingredients, closer inspection reveals little to be impressed about as there is simply not enough kick in this product to help you significantly.  If you really feel like getting rid of $20, then go for it, but don’t expect to get rid of much weight.
