The Citrus Diet is a diet in which the dieter consumes only citrus fruit and juices for 48 hours. During the 2 days you are allowed to eat limes, grapefruits, oranges, and lemons. With these citrus fruits you may also consume grapefruit juice, orange juice, lime juice, lemon juice and lemonade.
There are benefits associated with the consumption of Vitamin C. Studies have shown that it helps in the healing processes of the body as well as strengthening blood vessels, tissues and bones.
